  Plus two stars for the very friendly staff, super clean and well-maintained room, and tasty breakfast (I loved the pancakes, dense and flavorful, but the eggs and bacon and potatoes were really good too... Actually, everything was good).

  Minus one star for c. 2000 motel-style decor and no cozy common area to get away from the wifey and relax. I feel a little bad criticizing their decoration skills, because the place isn't pretentious AT ALL, but our room was so charming (it had a nook! That was empty!) it would have been easy to throw a little local flavor at it and make it charming.

  Reception was kind enough, but our room smelled really damp and chemical and had an odd layout. Put a fan on the window sill to get some fresh air in. The inn was completely full so no chance of changing rooms. Couldn't stand straight in the shower (1.80/5'11"). Breakfast was alright, a bit too greasy for my taste.

  Also, neither plus nor minus a star, but the bathroom sink was built for little people. It came up to my girlfriend's mid-thigh. No big deal, just peculiar!

  We stayed in a very budget- friendly, small-ish room. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. They offered to make reservations for us at a local restaurant which turned out to be essential as the place was packed for a band playing traditional Acadian and Celtic music.
